According to multiple sources, a dress code will be enforced at this year’s Dreamforce conference.  The popular annual event put on by tech giant Salesforce, famously attracts people and companies from all around the world. While the exact guidelines of the dress code haven’t been released, the Pasquinade has been informed that it’s likely to include a mandatory jacket and tie for men and skirt length restriction for women. Leaked documents suggest that Larry Ellison's plans for Lanai are not nearly as green as environmentalists had hoped: the billionaire Oracle founder intends to slash and burn as much as 80 percent of the island's forests to make way for luxury condominiums, and will operate whale hunting expeditions out of the island's main port. Exploiting a loophole in the maritime laws that govern whale hunting, Ellison will hunt whales at least 10 miles off of Hawaii's coast, thereby avoiding United States laws that prohibit the activity. Elon Musk, founder of Tesla Motors, and leading environmentalist was discovered to own substantial shares of both Exxon Mobil Corporation (XOM) and British Petroleum (BP). In Exxon’s April SEC proxy filings it listed Musk’s family investment firm, Musky Capital, as a 5.2% minority share-holder with over $500 million worth of shares. In what is believed to be a milestone first in the Sillicon Valley, Venture Capitalist Sam Jenkins of Sequoia Capital left money on the table yesterday. The event, which was corroborated by several witnesses at the scene, occurred yesterday at the California Avenue Starbucks in Palo Alto. Witnesses accounts differed as to exactly what Jenkins was doing at the Starbucks, but on one point they agree: when Jenkins departed the Starbucks, he left a nickel on the table he had been sitting at.
